Please allow 48-hours for your request to be processed. We will then have your item available for collection at one of our surgeries.
As a requirement under prescribing laws and the RCVS code of practice it is necessary for any pet receiving prescription only medication to be “under the care of a veterinary surgeon”. This means that your pet will be required to have regular check-ups whilst on the medication. This means having a check-up every six months, but may be more frequent depending on the condition that your pet has, and the medication involved. Regular check-ups whilst on medication is imperative to ensure that your pet is on the correct dose, having the correct response to and not suffering any side effects from the medication. Sometimes the dose required will need to be changed, or even the medication may well be changed or added to.
If the item requested is not suitable for a repeat prescription, for whatever reason, then we will contact you as soon as possible.
